Best Movie of the Summer [05 Jul 2009|12:51am] femonky [ mood | satisfied ] [ music | Kat Williams ] Best Movie of the Summer: Ghostbuster: The Videogame The storyline is great. The Team of Ackroyd and Ramis can write some funny and fantastic screenplay. Ackroyd's technobabble can make any trekkie take a step back. And Ramis' sense of timing and character really shines. EVEN Winston has personality this time around. I won't spoiler but this game also ties the first movie to the second movie and then wraps it up neat and tidy for this story! They added some horror elements that really amps up the tension. And it should have some scary stuff. These guys hunt ghosts and the paranormal. its horrific! "That was incredibly terrifying" as Egon was prone to saying. of course the tension does set up the jokes nicely. it was kinda comforting that you knew Ray or Venkman were gonna crack wise after some intense busting jsut went down! Gameplay is pretty standard 3rd person shooter. I played on casual mode so the targeting assist was on... Anyone who's played Halo with me knows thats a good thing. All in all, this was a great movie... er.. video game... and a good gamer could finish it in one day but I say, don't push it. enjoy it. Bustin' does, indeed, feel good. post comment
